Volunteer Peer Mentor
This is an exciting and varied volunteer role which will include 1-2-1 and group support for people seeking advice and information, to help them understand and meet their emotional and physical needs and improve their own overall wellbeing. Night Owls Telephone Support
In this volunteer role you will listen, emotionally support, advise and assist service users who ring the helpline in crisis for support. Ensure safe and quality service provision. The volunteer for this role has the ability to communicate clearly with a range of people both over the telephone and in person, sometimes over sensitive and/or complex issues. The role is available in Felixstowe from Thursday to Sunday from 7:30pm with a minimum commitment of three hours. Travel expenses eligible for reimbursement. Click here for full description.

Ecotherapy Allotment Volunteer
Suffolk Mind is looking for several allotment volunteers to help at our various plots throughout Suffolk. Allotment Volunteers attend regular weekly sessions to help tend and organise a successful allotment project helping people to improve and maintain their physical and mental wellbeing.
Quay Place Steward
We are looking for a friendly face to welcome visitors to Quay Place, Ipswich and help with enquiries and other daily administrative tasks. Someone who is willing to help with whatever needs doing, from preparing promotional literature to setting up rooms for meetings. Days and hours for the role will be a regular 4 hour shift on an afternoon (1pm-5pm) or evening (5pm-9pm) Monday – Friday.
Garden Co-ordinator/Lead Gardener
To guide and lead in all aspects of running the garden and running a two hour monthly group at Quay Place, Ipswich. Encourage and motivate others in the team, helping to assign tasks on different levels. Ongoing maintenance of the garden, planting, design and ongoing ground support. Gardener/Caretaker – Ipswich
To help with the upkeep of the garden at Quay Place, Ipswich and ongoing maintenance, weeding and tidying. To provide general support to the Quay Place team to help keep the building tidy up so that it looks its best for our visitors.

Volunteer in Our Bury St Edmunds Mind Shop
A fixture on our high streets since 1961, Mind shops are supported by our amazing volunteers. They’re a dedicated bunch, who help us make sure that everyone with a mental health problem has somewhere to turn for advice and support. Our volunteers benefit from:
