For those of you who know me you will know I like a challenge. I’m turning 40 next year so thought it would be fun to add to my existing bucket list. One of the non-negotiable items on the list is a Skydive. As some of you might remember I bricked it doing a bungee jump in New Zealand 11 years ago so I thought why not do something equally scary and jump out of a plane. Be under no illusion this is not something I will find easy or remotely pleasurable. I’m absolutely terrified and probably won’t sleep for the week (who am I kidding month) before but…it’s good to do things that scare you, right?!?! 😬 Goes without saying you will probably also hear about this for the next 10 years too…sorry in advance. After a few drinks, I’ve also managed to rope in one of my friend’s husbands to do it with me (which I’m sure he is regretting now 🤣). So we will be jumping on September 30th (weather permitting).
We are raising money for Suffolk Mind which are a mental health charity close to my heart, providing support and promoting positive mental health and wellbeing in the local community. With the current economic climate I totally understand we are all in different financial situations, so I don’t expect you to donate. It you can spare a few pennies then great. If not, what would be lovely is if we all reached out to someone we have spoken to for a while just to check in on them and make sure they are ok. It could make a significant difference to them and hopefully give you the feel good factor.
If it’s just a friendly chat you need please give me a call or message, a problem shared is a problem halved.
