We will be doing a Skydive on 1st October in Beccles to fundraise for Suffolk Mind. Four of us will be taking on this challenge.

Jackie Ha (COO) – I’m taking on this challenge because I feel that as an industry, we need to be the driving force behind raising awareness for mental health. Last year my partners father took his own life after being unwell from mental health.  As a business, we employ people from all walks of life, generally from a very young age. I feel that if we can educate people from a young age, they will be better equipped to identify their own issues, as well as assist others when they are feeling unwell. As well as employees, we push to be a safe space for people to use through good mental health, and when they are feeling unwell. If we have the best education, we can also assist the extended communities that we provide for. The fantastic work that Suffolk Mind does to support and educate, is integral for everyone in the present and the future, they deserve our support.

Michelle Wall (HR Manager) – Mental wellbeing is just as important as physical health. I love everything that Suffolk Minds stands for and think that now more than ever we need to promote mental health. Suffolk Mind is there for all ages offering support, groups and one to one care.

Rosie Robinson (Operations Manager) – I feel I have a special connection and special reason to support Suffolk Mind. Ever since I can remember, my father has struggled with mental health, this has had a huge impact on both of our lives. Unfortunately, last year, he lost his battle with mental health and took his own life. I want to use this experience and channel my energy into raising money for Suffolk Mind, so that people get the help to prevent this from happening.

James Creasey (Head Chef) – Suffolk Mind is a charity that is really important to me. There have been times in the past that I have used them for help. I want it to be as accessible as possible for anyone that ever needs it. In order for me to do the Skydive, I have to lose a few pounds! I am therefore eating healthily and exercising, which also helps me to keep good mental health.
