Meet your need for Movement and Achievement, without even leaving the house!

Join the Virtual Everest Challenge, and raise money for mental health in your county by tackling the stairs a couple of (hundred) times a day.

It takes 44,256 steps to climb Mount Everest (the highest point on Earth), but don’t worry – you have 12 weeks to complete the task!

Tell me more…

Follow in the footsteps of Sir Edmund Hillary and ‘climb’ the equivalent height of Mount Everest in 12 weeks, while supporting Suffolk Mind’s vital mental health services.

Any upward climb counts as long as you track it. So, you could take the stairs rather than the lift at work, or wander the rolling hills of the Suffolk countryside. You could even stay at home – you’d be amazed how many steps you’ll rack up on your own staircase!

Once you’ve achieved an elevation gain of 8,848m, you’ll just need to submit your evidence to get your well-earned medal.
