Gala on the Farm: Headline sponsor spotlight on Treatt PLC

by Suffolk Mind Team | 29 Jun 2023

The countdown is on for Suffolk Mind’s first Gala on the Farm event and we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone! We wouldn’t be able to hold this event without the fantastic support we’ve received, so we’d like to shine a spotlight on Gala on the Farm’s headline sponsor, Treatt PLC.

We spoke to Daemmon Reeve, Chief Executive of Treatt, to find out why the company regularly supports Suffolk Mind.

Treatt is a natural extracts and ingredients manufacturer to the global beverage, flavour, fragrance and consumer goods markets. Based in Bury St Edmunds – with other locations in the USA and China – Treatt shares Suffolk Mind’s goal of making Suffolk the best place in the world for talking about and taking care of mental health.

They chose Suffolk Mind as one of their key corporate charities, providing us with fundraising support to deliver our vital services. And those vital services have also provided “enormous” benefits to Treatt’s staff, according to Daemmon. The company has already taken part in The Mental Health Toolkit: The Essentials and Sleep Well, Work Well courses – and they plan on doing more.

Mental health is “absolutely key” to Daemmon and the team at Treatt, who recognise that everyone faces challenges at times. Therefore, Treatt ensures they’ve built an environment where people can seek support from their colleagues, employers and more.

Treatt’s ethos is ‘Think Well, Live Well, Be Well’, which they adopt in all their operations. As a large employer in Suffolk, Treatt strongly believes in giving back to communities and supporting charities across the county.

The company has generously supported Suffolk Mind through numerous fundraising initiatives. This includes Treatt’s own campaign ‘Ready Steady Move’, which saw colleagues across the UK clock up 109,353 minutes of movement, raising £3,500 for Suffolk Mind. Treatt has also joined our ‘100 Miles for Suffolk Mind’ challenge, and they have raised £4,237 for us to date.

When asked why they had chosen to headline sponsor Gala on the Farm, Daemmon stated that it was “a great opportunity” for them, adding that “Suffolk Mind, particularly, are very good at reflecting visibility back out through various platforms” which is ideal for businesses looking to get their name out in the community.

We are incredibly grateful of their continued support and we look forward to working with them in the future.
