Suffolk Mind’s fourth co-investment Mind shop opens in Sudbury
We’re thrilled to have opened our fourth shop in collaboration with Mind.
Located at 12 North Street (CO10 1RB), this newest shop will help fundraise for both charities, while also raising mental health awareness in the local area.
The shop includes a significant range of furniture – the first of its kind in the region.
We have already partnered with national Mind on the very successful Bury St Edmunds shop and the newly opened Woodbridge and Stowmarket shops
These shops have already avidly served the local community over the last couple of months.
Kelly Law, Regional Manager at Mind Retail, said: “We are so excited to welcome the people of Sudbury to this new Mind shop and are thrilled to be working alongside Suffolk Mind on our fourth shop together.
“We have thoroughly enjoyed partnering with them and are incredibly grateful for the support they have given us already through gathering donations and speaking with their beneficiaries ahead of the opening.
“There are very easy ways that everybody can get involved such as donating quality items, volunteering in the shop, or simply shopping at the store. I urge locals to visit the shop or get in touch to find out more about how they can support us.”
Our CEO Jon Neal said: “It is great to open our fourth co-investment shop – the third this year – here in Sudbury.
“Working in partnership with national Mind is an important way of getting our message out there and enhancing our presence in the county.
“We have already seen how the popularity of our most recent stores in Woodbridge and Stowmarket is leading to an increase in vital funds – and I would like to thank Mind for making these partnerships possible.”
Don’t forget that when in-store, you can also make a further contribution by filling in a Gift Aid form potentially allowing the charity to claim 25% of the sale price of the donations from the government in Gift Aid.
Pop by and visit the shop at 12 North Street, Sudbury, CO10 1RB.
Thank you so much to Buckle Shipping for lending us some storage space for the furniture and Callum Gibson for introducing us.
