Reception team

Suffolk Mind’s Reception team run our 0300 access line and info@ email address. They also process self-referral forms and are there to support anyone who contacts us.

Lee
Community Services Manager Lee joined Suffolk Mind in 2009. Before her role at Suffolk Mind, she was in finance and a landscape gardener! Lee manages the Bury St Edmunds building and some of our community services which includes the reception team, counselling, and community courses.

Laura
Laura is one of our Projects Administrators & Receptionists and she’s been with Suffolk Mind since 2023. Before that, she volunteered for Suffolk Mind for many years and still volunteers now for the Children, Families and Young People’s team. Prior to joining Suffolk Mind, Laura was a teacher. Laura is based at the University of Suffolk on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and her job involves providing admin support for some community services, including Suffolk Work Well, Eating Recovery and GreenCare.

Zara
Zara has been at Suffolk Mind since 2023 and she’s also one of our Projects Administrators & Receptionists. Zara previously volunteered  for the York Nightline listening service while she was at university studying for her psychology degree, and she also did freelance proofreading for television transcriptions. Zara is based in our Bury St Edmunds office full time and provides admin support for some community services, including counselling, courses, and volunteering.

Suzanne
Suzanne joined Suffolk Mind in 2023 and she is our main receptionist. Previously, Suzanne worked for the DWP and most recently worked as a medical receptionist. Suzanne is based in Bury St Edmunds and works part time. Her main responsibility is to answer the 0300 access line but she also greets visitors to the Bury St Edmunds office.
