I ran more in 2020 than ever before due to gym closures (and to briefly escape home-schooling). I usually dread running and mainly enjoy the homeward straight and the sense of achievement afterwards. But… fresh air, exercise and having a goal can only be good for you. This seems like the ideal challenge to get me through January, another gym closure and another lockdown. 😬 And, it will be a challenge as I am not a natural runner, I hate the cold and this is 30-40 miles further than I have run in other lockdown months!
