Bruce Marques and Sam Godward are avid cricket “badgers” who both play cricket for Kesgrave CC and socially for separate teams. Stemming from our love of cricket and to challenge ourselves we want to attempt to bat at Polstead Cricket Lane who have generously donated there facilities to us for 24 hours on the 31st of March into the 1st April. Mental health within competitive sport can take a toll on even the strongest of minds, and we hope that by raising money for Mind Suffolk our contributions can go to helping out as many people at possible struggling with mental health. If nothing else we can spend an entire day doing what we enjoy and putting our body’a and minds to the test.
