Our Patron, Peter Basford, will once again be hosting a charity golf day in support of Suffolk Mind.

This event was hugely popular in 2023, and with limited availability for 2024, we encourage teams to book early.

When and where

The Suffolk Mind Golf Day 2024 will be held on Friday 31 May, with tee-offs from 10.30am. 

It’ll take place at Stowmarket Golf Club, which is a popular 18-hole course in mid-Suffolk.

What’s included

In addition to golfing, your day includes coffee and a bacon roll on arrival, followed by a post play two-course meal.

There will also be a fundraising raffle and auction, along with prizes for teams and individuals.

Teams and pricing

Booking is open for teams of 4 at a team cost of £250. Players must be aged 18+.

A minimum of £50 will come directly to Suffolk Mind to support our vital work in the county and there will be additional fundraising opportunities on the day.

Whether you’re in a team or not, you can sponsor a hole for the Suffolk Mind Golf Day!

For £50, you will receive:

• Your company logo on the event page
• Your company logo displayed at the hole on the day
• Shout-outs on social media before and after the event

FAQs

What shall I wear?

All participants are required to wear appropriate golfing attire, including golf shoes, and to have their own set of golf clubs that they can bring with them.

Can I sponsor the event or donate a raffle prize?

Absolutely. We are looking for 18 local corporate sponsors who would be willing to sponsor a hole and help us increase our fundraising from the event.

In addition, we are looking for local businesses who are happy to donate a prize for our raffle or auction.

All sponsors and gift in kind donors will be featured on our event page.
