Online Counsellor
Why did you become a counsellor?
I became a counsellor because I’ve always had a genuine interest in wellbeing and mental health. I wanted to be able to genuinely make a difference in someone’s life, even if that difference is just giving them a space to feel heard and understood. I also think part of my motivation comes from wanting to be the kind of support I haven’t always had access to myself. That sense of having someone truly listen, without judgement, is so powerful, and I want to be able to offer that to others. For me, counselling feels like a really meaningful way to do that.
Hobbies: I’ve recently got into running and I’m training for a half marathon. I also love baking, especially when I can share what I’ve made with other people. And I’ve got a sausage dog called Milly, who keeps me busy and is a big part of how I unwind.
