I started running during the first Covid and haven’t stopped since then. Running is my meditation and greatly affects my mental well-being. It also helps to reduce stress and anxiety, and improves the quality of my life. Running also allows me to get out in nature which helps and put my thoughts in order. The feeling of accomplishment also helps that self doubt that anxiety causes.
So if you feel stressed and anxious try to go for a run, it maybe be a little bit hard to start but the feeling you get after a run is amazing. It won’t make stress and axiety disappear overnight, but it could help you manage the symptoms.
