The loss of a relationship, following separation, divorce, or bereavement, increases the risk of suicide, especially in the 12 months after that loss. Suffolk Mind and Mid and North East Essex Mind are working in partnership to deliver this event. We aim to empower professionals to gain awareness and practical skills to support people they work with.

Family mediators, solicitors, and legal specialists in family law, divorce, and probate have an important role in preventing suicide and the devasting impact this has on the lives of others.
Line managers also need the skills to recognise and support colleagues who are bereaved, or following a relationship breakdown.
Anyone working with or supporting people as part of their role. From stewards at football grounds to social workers, barbers and local coffee shop workers to people working in the NHS or VCSE sector.
