Big Give 52k for Suffolk Mind

This year, Suffolk Mind hopes to raise £52k in a six-month long campaign that ends with double donations week as part of the Christmas Big Give challenge.

£52k can run Suffolk Mind’s 0300 111 6000 phone line for a whole year and, since Suffolk Mind receives more than 100 calls a day, this amount of money could make a lot of difference.

We invite anyone and everyone to donate, no matter how big or small, before a final push during double donations week at 12pm 3 December to 12pm 10 December.

What is double donations week?

Every year, Big Give host a Christmas challenge which enables charities to set a target match pot total which if met, will be doubled by Big Give.

I’m a business. Can I pledge towards your match pot for double donations week?

Yes please! We are looking for 13 corporate pledges to help us meet our build our match pot by each pledging £1,000 (which will become £2,000 during double donations week). If they can pledge even more, we’d be so grateful.

Corporates can pledge now with nothing to pay until December 2024 (our team will simply need you to complete a short Big Give pledge form to confirm your pledge in September).

Corporates who pledge at least £1,000 will get:

• Their logo on this event page
• A digital ‘Big Give Pledger’ pin for a signature strip or website
• Their logo on our Who we help page throughout 2025
• Their business featured in our 2024 Impact Report (read our 2023 Impact Report)
• Their business named in our press release

Can I donate during double donations week if I’m not a pledger?

Yes please! During double donations week all of Suffolk Mind’s donate links will automatically be redirected to the Big Give platform, enabling anyone to donate if they want to. Just remember that double donations week doesn’t open until 12pm 3 December.

Can I donate before double donations week?

Absolutely. We invite donations to this campaign at any time (please just be aware they are only doubled 3 December to 10 December and when made via the Big Give link which will be published in due course). In the meantime, please make your donation via this page. This will ensure your donation is restricted to this particular campaign and supports the running of our 0300-line as opposed to other services.
