I’m acutely aware that the county’s mental health is going to be an ongoing challenge this year with more people needing to call on MIND than ever before. I try to walk every day for my own mental health but life and work and yes, lack of motivation can often get in the way. Im hoping that by taking on this challenge I will find the motivation to go out every day which will be good for me and if it contributes to MIND funds it’s a win/win. January is a tough month at the best of times so trying to make this year slightly less tough!!
Done! 156 miles, averaged just over 5 miles a day. Kept me active, outside and fit and I feel like I’ve actually achieved something in what, frankly, is the most challenging month of the year for me..
