Bury St Edmunds Counsellor

Why did you become a counsellor?

Having experienced counselling myself during some of life’s challenges, I gained an understanding of the positive impact that a supportive therapeutic relationship can have. This inspired my interest in counselling and the opportunity it provides for people to explore their experiences, develop greater self-awareness and find meaning and understanding in their lives. I am passionate about creating a space where individuals feel heard, understood and empowered to recognise their own strengths and expertise.

Hobbies: I enjoy staying active through tennis and rock climbing, and am currently attempting to master pottery. I also enjoy reading, creative writing, and watching films. I am a keen traveller and love spending time in nature whenever I have the opportunity.
