I’m running the Ipswich Half Marathon on Sunday 27th September! Something I never thought I’d say, as I’m definitely not a natural runner!
I’m doing this in memory of my amazing Dad, who I lost in 2022. My dad was my protector, my biggest fan, my work colleague, my best friend and hero. A man loved by everyone. Kind, caring, funny, a true gentleman who absolutely adored his family. Losing him has changed my life forever, and it’s a pain I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
That’s why I’m raising money for Suffolk Mind. They work to support people struggling with their mental health and, most importantly, help save lives.
If raising money and awareness can help even one person get the support they need—or spare another family from going through this kind of heartbreak—then every mile will be worth it.
On race day I will be pushing myself through 13.1 miles. It will be a huge challenge for me, but it’s nothing compared to what so many people face every day.
Any donation, big or small, would mean the world to me. Thank you so much for your support 💛
