Sue Wilcock
Sue is taking part in the Fire Walk on Wednesday 26 February at Ufford Park, raising money for Suffolk Mind…
“I’ve always been on top of things when it comes to looking after my physical health; making sure I exercise and eat healthily, giving up smoking and only drinking the occasional glass of wine. However, along the way, I seem to forget to look after my mental health which is just as important.
When I’m immersed in running my own business, it’s something I tend to ignore, as I just don’t have the time to deal properly with the stress and anxiety I am continually putting my body under.
Having had a health crisis involving my younger sister, Kate, towards the end of 2019, it brought things home to me about what’s important in life. I decided that in 2020, I would endeavour to treat myself more kindly, and also keep my mind open to new opportunities and new experiences; after all you only live once!
So, hence I am challenging myself to do the fire walk at Ufford Park on Wednesday 26th February, and at the same time raise some money for an extremely good cause.
I would be really grateful if you could support me by making a donation via the link below. Any amount is appreciated and hopefully will move me another step closer to reaching my target.
Thank you”
