I’m fundraising for Suffolk Mind because they have provided me more support (through waves and work well) than the local mental health services have been able to. Quay place is a wonderful building, providing a space for me to attend Tai Chi and BWIS life lounge events.
I think the other work they do is also fantastic – especially the work with school children.
Although my RED January plans have been delayed somewhat by my having a house fire on New Years Eve – I have already managed to be more active than I would otherwise have been (probably helping with the emotional fallout from house-fire!) I intend to do all of my planned activities – although some may need to be moved into February.
Planned activities include swimming (for the second time in 18 years!), trying pole dancing, clubbercise, trying rock climbing, Tai Chi, dog walking, cycling, running, ninja tag and poi.
