Partners and stakeholders

At Suffolk Mind we value our partners and stakeholders. Working collaboratively with local businesses and other charity and VCSE organisations, helps us to achieve our mission to make Suffolk the best place in the world for talking about and taking care of mental health.

We have worked with local leisure providers such as Abbeycroft Leisure and Ipswich Borough Council on projects including Stand Tall and Move Your Mind. This brings together our mental health expertise with their physical activity expertise for an inclusive approach to physical and mental health.

Our work with other charities such as Rock Paper Scissors and GamFam, includes weaving the Emotional Needs & Resources approach into their existing programmes, as well as creating new ones.

We’re also working with the East of England Co-op to implement their Wellbeing Programme for more than 4,000 staff across three counties. Through training, resources, internal communication plans and a shared colleague, they have been able to integrate the Emotional Needs and Resources approach throughout their organisation.

Suffolk Mind are open to new partnerships, so if you have a project in mind or a bid you are working on, please get in touch with us.

Rock Paper Scissors

Rock Paper Scissors and Suffolk Mind have worked together on a number of projects, most notably the development of a creative wellbeing journal based on their Needs Met programme. We have distributed 2000 copies of the journals to year 6 students at local primary schools, delivering creative wellbeing workshops at the same time. We also have delivered family wellbeing workshops at our Dove Street Studio.

We secured funding from Suffolk County Council for Suffolk Mind to deliver training to our team, to support us in the delivery of “Creative Practice for Wellbeing”, a two year programme of art workshops for adults struggling with their mental health.
