Chair of Heritage Lottery Fund visits award winning Quay Place in Ipswich
Sir Peter Luff, Chair of the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) and the National Heritage Memorial Fund (NHMF), visited to Quay Place this week.
Along with the Head of HLF in East of England, Robyn Llewellyn, he learnt about the exciting projects staff at Quay Place have been working on and the impact National Lottery funding has had. These include an upcoming exhibition about Henry and Alice Tooley, who contributed much of their wealth to the people of Ipswich. (more…)

Suffolk Mind teams up with Ipswich Town Football Club to raise awareness of mental health
Suffolk Mind has joined forces with Ipswich Town Football Club to shine a spotlight on mental health.
The club has released a video which includes high profile Ipswich town players like captain Luke Chambers and new manager Paul Hurst, explaining how ‘together we can all make a difference’.

Suffolk Mind trustee and supporter complete 100 mile bike ride for charity
Two people, a trustee and a Suffolk Mind supporter have cycled 100 miles to raise money for the mental health charity.
Dr Nicky Ridgeway and Julian Tyndale-Biscoe took part in Prudential RideLondon, the greatest festival of cycling in the world, over the weekend (28th/29th July) to raise money for Suffolk Mind.
