New mental wellbeing programme for Suffolk children moves a step closer
Work on a new mental wellbeing programme for children in Saxmundham and all of Suffolk has moved a step closer this week, thanks to thousands of pounds being raised for it.
During their annual Christmas collections, The Rotary Club of Saxmundham and District raised £2,250.00 for EARLY Minds (Emotional Awareness & Resilience Learnt Young), which is run by Suffolk Mind.

Suffolk Mind Chief Executive raises thousands in national #REDJanuary challenge
The Chief Executive of Suffolk Mind has raised thousands of pounds as part of the national RED (Run Every Day) January challenge, to help people improve their mental health.
Jon Neal ran every day throughout January, with special guests running alongside him. They included, MP for Ipswich, Sandy Martin, Stephen Dunn, the CEO of West Suffolk Hospital, and the Editor of the East Anglian Daily Times, Brad Jones. To date, £2,900 has been raised, but there’s still time to donate.

Matthew Long's Sudbury to the Sea Kayak Challenge (1)

Matthew is kayaking from Sudbury to the coast on Saturday 14th September, all to raise money for Suffolk Mind; it is an organised event by the River Stour Trust and is 24 ½ miles over two days.

The band Ska'd 4life are hosting a fundraising dance on Saturday 9th November to raise money and awareness for Suffolk Mind.
