We’re delighted to have received a place in the 2020 Virgin London Marathon and we’re excited to offer this to a member of the Suffolk community. The place is open to applications from anybody over the age of 18 and living or working in Suffolk who wants to contribute to Suffolk Mind’s mission of making Suffolk the best place in the world for talking about and taking care of mental health.
Who can apply?
All participants must be over 18 years of age and living or working in Suffolk.
How much do I need to fundraise for Suffolk Mind?
You need to commit to raising a minimum of £1,000 for Suffolk Mind through a Virgin Money Giving page.
How do I apply?
To apply for this place to run in the 2020 Virgin London Marathon for Suffolk Mind, all you need to do is complete our application form by midnight on Sunday 8th September 2019. Your application entry will then be considered by a selection panel.
When will I hear if I’ve been selected?
The selected candidate will be informed on Monday 16th September 2019 via email and has until Monday 23rd September 2019 to confirm acceptance of the place. All unsuccessful candidates will receive an email on Monday 23rd September 2019.
If I’m selected, is there any publicity I need to participate in?
Yes, we want to shout about the amazing challenge you are taking on and your great fundraising efforts so this means taking part in some publicity for us. This will include photos, videos and social media promotion and may include interviews and features with local media.
