Workplace Fundraising

Fundraising in your workplace can provide valuable support to people within your local community.  It also helps greatly to raise wider awareness of mental heath and wellbeing and of local services available to support people.

Fundraising at work can also be great for motivation and enable people to use different skill sets, and even help to raise your profile externally by creating some wonderful PR opportunities!

There are many ways to support us whether you are a team of 3 or 300. Here are some of the ways you could help:

Make us your charity of the year

Choosing Suffolk Mind as your charity of the year can really help bring everyone together. Organising and taking part in different activities through the year can help foster a team spirit and give a real sense of achievement knowing you are contributing to help make a positive change in someone’s life.

In return we can work with you to make the most of PR opportunities and can also provide resources to support your activities.

Support our events

By supporting one of our events you have the opportunity to gain some great PR and advertising opportunities as well as contributing to a worthwhile cause. There are many ways you could support us; enter a team, organise an event or perhaps consider sponsoring an activity.  We would be pleased to talk through different options and to explore any ideas with you.

Organise your own charity event

From a dress down day to a dinner and dance, organising your own charity event is a great way to have fun together and raise money for a great cause at the same time.

Matched giving

As an employer please consider supporting employees with any challenges or fundraising initiatives they are doing. Matching their donations can help to build confidence and also provide inspiration and motivation to help them achieve their goal.

Payroll giving

A Payroll Giving Scheme means you can nominate us to receive a set amount each month which comes out of your gross salary. You are then taxed on the rest – so can actually save a bit of money whilst being generous to a good cause!

If your employer doesn't yet offer Payroll Giving, ask them to consider doing this.

If you are considering fundraising in the workplace this year, or at any time in the future, we would love to meet you or talk over the phone - contact our Fundraising Manager - on 01394 330823 or email
