Help us to be there to support mental wellbeing
Each month at Suffolk Mind and Quay Place we focus on an emotional or physical need. Just as we have physical needs for food, drink, sleep and movement, we have emotional needs too which need to be met for us to stay well. The month of April is all about food and drink.
Food and drink should be one of life’s pleasures; beyond just eating to live, experiencing new tastes, the feeling of being nourished, and the sense of community which comes from eating and drinking with others.
Wednesday 25th April - 6.30pm to 9.30pm
Come and join our Charity Quiz Night with all proceeds going to Suffolk Mind. There are just a few things you need to know:
Thursday 26th April - 6.00pm - 7.30pm
Do you find yourself comfort eating? Do you sometimes feel ‘hungry’?
Often we can find ourselves trying to satisfy emotional needs in physical ways. Come along to find out, ‘What need are we feeding?’ to get a better understanding of what needs are unmet in your life, how you can make better choices around food and drink, and get a life which better supports your physical and emotional health.
