We are looking for an experienced clinician/therapeutic practitioner with senior management experience to join our proactive and visionary leadership team. You will be highly motivated to make a difference to the mental wellbeing of the people of Suffolk and will bring strong leadership, support and guidance to Suffolk Mind's programmes in Education, Research and Service Development.
You will be experienced in building relationships to support and expand the influence of Suffolk Mind as well as providing clinical expertise to the sales team and other staff as necessary.
Reporting to the chief executive, you will have responsibility for all training offered as well as overseeing relevant budgets. You will have experience of producing policies and risk assessing new training and services providing key performance indicators.
You will have experience of managing staff and overall responsibility for all service and clinical data collection.

Quay Place, the award-winning innovative Heritage and Wellbeing Centre at the heart of the Ipswich Waterfront, is looking for a Deputy Manager. The role will focus on heritage, working with the community and managing our prestigious venue. Reporting to the Quay Place Manager, this crucial operational post will have key responsibiilities to lead and deliver the Heritage and Community plan of our lottery-funded project, motivating and encouraging our fantastic volunteer team.
Quay Place is open 7 days a week and 9am-9pm Monday to Friday, so the successful candidate will be expected to work flexibly to cover some shifts. You will also need to have what it takes to ensure that the customer comes first, that we help the local community engage with the history of the church and Ipswich and enable people to access activities in a safe, welcoming and well-maintained building.
If you're a practical, can-do person with excellent communication skills, a love of history and some good management experience, get in touch. We'd love it if you have several years' experience of service management or project management of a complex project/service but most of all we're looking for a conscientious and reliable person to join our wonderful team.

Suffolk Mind's Relief Pool Workers provide cover to housing projects at times of staffing shortage. Permanent staff are always availabile. The overall aim of Suffolk Mind's housing projects is to enable people who have experience of mental health problems to live in ordinary housing and achieve as normal a lifestyle as possible. Staff provide the day to day guidance to people living at the projects under the leadership of the Team Leader and Senior Practitioner.
The role is a flexible one. This arises from the need to provide staff cover to the projects, and support the changing needs of service users. The number of hours required will vary as demand arises. There is no obligation for Suffolk Mind to provide work to relief workers, as is there no obligation for workers to accept offers of work.
We are looking for individuals with at least one year's experience of working with people who have long term mental health needs or associated field. Be a good communicator, basic awareness of welfare rights and benefits, relevant practical skills and willingness to support individuals in practical every day tasks and provide personal emotional support to people who experience emotional distress.
